Calculation method
Calculation method
Finite-lot acceptance probabilities [D,probability]
For each integer D: sum C(D,k)*C(N-D,n-k)/C(N,n), k=max(0,n-(N-D))..min(c,n,D).
Lot defect fractions
D/N for each supplied D.
Symbols and units
- a
- Finite lot size (units)
- b
- Random sample without replacement (units)
- c
- Acceptance maximum defects (units)
- d
- Defective counts in lot for curve (units)
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Exact hypergeometric attribute sampling under simple random sampling without replacement. Does not choose a plan or infer acceptable quality levels. Use integer defective lot counts to avoid ambiguous rate rounding. Supported limits: 1<=n<=N<=100000; 0<=c<=n; each D integer in 0..N; <=100 curve points.
