Your numbers stay with you.

Ordinary calculator inputs are processed in the browser. This version has no product analytics or advertising scripts. The optional AI question finder sends submitted questions and conversation context to OpenAI through a server-side connection. It uses GPT-6 Luna to prepare inputs, while our own code performs calculations. API requests use store:false; this does not remove any provider security or abuse-monitoring retention. Conversation text and past result cards stay in page memory and are cleared on reload or New conversation. We keep operational AI-attempt metadata (a hash of your site-specific user ID, timestamps, request size, token counts and outcome) in the usage database to enforce shared allowances. We do not store question text, prepared inputs or email there. Records expire lazily when AI traffic next runs after seven days; an idle site may retain older records until that cleanup. Hosting operational logs have their own retention. Avoid entering personal identifiers or account details. Local matching remains available without model calls.

Saved and recent tools

Your favourites and recently opened calculator IDs are stored in this browser’s local storage. They do not include entered values and do not sync between devices.

Shared links

Sharing puts your chosen inputs in the URL fragment after #. Anyone who receives the full link can read those values. URL fragments are not sent as part of the normal HTTP request, but may be visible in your browser history and to someone with the link. Do not share private names, dates or financial figures unintentionally.

Hosting and browser sessions

SumFizz runs on our dedicated server. The optional AI finder uses a signed, essential browser cookie for its allowance; it expires after 30 days. Operational AI records contain a hashed session identifier, request timing, token counts and outcome, not question text or email, and expire after seven days. A separate hashed network allowance helps prevent cookie resets from bypassing request limits. Standard server access logs can include IP addresses and are rotated after seven days. There are no advertising or product analytics scripts in this release.
