Examples
Examples
Try the starting example
- Batches [dough kg,mixing minutes]; enter JSON
- [[5,10],[8,12],[4,8]]
- Mixer rated working capacity (kg)
- 6,10
- Batch-machine schedule (JSON)
- [{"batch":1,"mixer":1,"start":0,"end":10},{"batch":2,"mixer":2,"start":0,"end":12},{"batch":3,"mixer":1,"start":10,"end":18}]
- Unassigned batches (count)
- 0
Try another scenario
- Batches [dough kg,mixing minutes]; enter JSON
- [[7,12],[9,15],[3,8]]
- Mixer rated working capacity (kg)
- 8,8
- Batch-machine schedule (JSON)
- [{"batch":1,"mixer":1,"start":0,"end":12},{"batch":2,"mixer":null,"start":null,"end":null},{"batch":3,"mixer":2,"start":0,"end":8}]
- Unassigned batches (count)
- 1
Calculation method
Calculation method
Batch-machine schedule (JSON)
For each batch choose capacity-compatible mixer with earliest free time, tie by mixer index; leave incompatible batches unassigned.
Unassigned batches (count)
Count records with no compatible mixer.
Symbols and units
- a
- Batches [dough kg,mixing minutes]; enter JSON
- b
- Mixer rated working capacity (kg)
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Input-order whole-batch mixer assignment; mixing times supplied and bowls cannot share a batch. Supported limits: All numeric inputs and computed intermediates must remain finite. Supported numeric input magnitude is zero or 1e-12 through 1e12 in absolute value; reject values outside this bounded range. All lists/JSON record tables are limited to 100 records unless a stricter bound is stated; reject malformed record arity and wrong member types. All numeric values must be finite. Lists contain at most 100 records; required lists must be nonempty. Rates, probabilities and fractions are entered as fractions, not percentages; fractions must be between 0 and 1. Use a single consistent user-selected currency for all amounts; no exchange-rate conversion.
