- [[480,720],[780,1020]]
- Caregiver availability JSON [ID,start, end] (same minutes)
- [["A",480,660],["B",600,840],["A",900,1020]]
- School coverage JSON [start, end] (same minutes)
- [[660,780]]
- Uncovered care intervals (minutes)
- [[840,900]]
- Overlapping coverage [start,end,simultaneous providers]
- [[600,660,2],[660,720,2]]
- Covered required minutes
- 420
Try another scenario
- Required care JSON [start, end] (minutes since Monday 00:00)
- [[480,720],[780,1020]]
- Caregiver availability JSON [ID,start, end] (same minutes)
- [["A",480,660],["B",600,900],["A",900,1020]]
- School coverage JSON [start, end] (same minutes)
- [[660,780]]
- Uncovered care intervals (minutes)
- []
- Overlapping coverage [start,end,simultaneous providers]
- [[600,660,2],[660,720,2]]
- Covered required minutes
- 480
Calculation method
Calculation method
Uncovered care intervals (minutes)
Subtract union of caregiver and school coverage from union of required intervals.
Overlapping coverage [start,end,simultaneous providers]
Sweep all clipped boundaries; report required segments with >1 covering interval.
Covered required minutes
Sum required segments with >=1 coverage provider.
Symbols and units
- a
- Required care JSON [start, end] (minutes since Monday 00:00)
- b
- Caregiver availability JSON [ID,start, end] (same minutes)
- c
- School coverage JSON [start, end] (same minutes)
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Half-open weekly time intervals [start, end), coverage map only; availability is not a confirmed booking. Assumes any supplied caregiver/school interval fully covers the stated care requirement. Supported limits: 0<=start<end<=10080, integer minutes; <=1000 intervals; do not count duplicate same-person overlapping intervals twice (reject them).
