Calculation method

Calculation method

Site trace [start,end,total grid kW]

Sweep all supplied segment boundaries; sum active piecewise powers plus constant base load over every half-open interval.

Coincident site peak (kW)

Maximum site trace power.

Peak intervals [start,end] (minutes)

Return all swept intervals tied for peak.

Site energy over trace span (kWh)

Integrate every charger segment plus baseLoad*(lastBoundary-firstBoundary)/60.

Symbols and units
a
Piecewise-constant charger power JSON [charger ID,start minute,end minute,grid kW]
b
Constant site base load (kW)

Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.

Assumptions & limits

Assumptions & limits

  • Exact piecewise-constant grid-power trace over supplied span. No diversity factor assumed. Peak is instantaneous segment power, not tariff demand averaging, transformer sizing or battery-side power. Supported limits: 1..1000 positive-duration integer-minute segments; same-charger segments may touch but not overlap; power/base>=0; at least one segment.
