Calculation method
Calculation method
Unmapped old IDs
Old IDs without a mapping row.
Unmapped new IDs
New IDs not targeted by a mapping row.
Mapped field mismatches by old ID
Compare required attribute values literally; either side missing is flagged even if both are absent.
Mapped records equal on every required populated field
Count mapped pairs with zero required-field mismatches.
Mapped record pairs
Count explicit unique old/new pairs; many-to-one mappings are rejected.
New minus old record count
New record count−old record count, independently of mapping coverage.
Symbols and units
- a
- Old catalogue: ID, key=value attributes joined by |; or none
- b
- New catalogue: ID, key=value attributes joined by |; or none
- c
- Explicit one-to-one ID mappings: old ID, new ID; or none
- d
- Required literal comparison keys joined by |
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- An explicit ID-map and literal-field audit. Normalize units, currencies, case and canonical values before comparison; the tool does not infer entity matches, merge records or migrate data.
