Calculation method
Calculation method
Final basket amount ($)
Process rules in input order against current eligible balances and cap every discount at the eligible subtotal.
Final amount by line ($)
Allocate each discount across current eligible lines proportionally in exact US cents, using largest remainders and input-order ties.
Applied discount by rule ($)
Record the actual cent discount for each rule that reduces the basket.
Skipped rules and reasons
After the first effective rule in a named exclusion group, skip later rules in that group. Also expose unmet minima and zero discounts.
Total discount ($)
Original basket−final basket, exactly conserved in US cents.
