Calculation method
Calculation method
Timetable [request,person,device,start,end]
Process requests in user priority order. Reject request above its explicit allowance. Scan integer-minute start options within supplied device windows; choose earliest start then device ID, avoiding person/device conflicts and fixed commitments.
Unscheduled request IDs
Requests exceeding allowance or not fitting available slots under greedy proposal.
Scheduled device minutes
Sum scheduled session durations.
Symbols and units
- a
- Requests JSON [ID,person ID,desired minutes,agreed allowance minutes]
- b
- Device windows JSON [device ID,start minute, end minute]
- c
- Fixed commitments JSON [person ID,start minute, end minute]
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- One indivisible request per person in this bounded version. Allowances and order are family-supplied rules; no health or age recommendations. Greedy schedule, no optimality claim. Supported limits: 1..30 requests, distinct people; minute durations/allowances integer>0; 1..20 device windows, 0<=start<end<=1440; same-device windows may not overlap.
