Calculation method
Calculation method
End-of-day backlog sequence
Each day: max(0, previous backlog + new daily work − daily capacity). Arrivals occur before reviews.
First clearing day
First displayed day ending at zero, or Not within horizon.
Reviews completed over displayed period
Sum min(capacity, backlog + arrivals) across the displayed days.
Unused review capacity
Days × daily capacity − reviews completed.

Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- A workload queue model. Daily arrivals are review actions, not distinct new cards with an inferred repetition schedule. Constant capacity and arrivals do not predict learning or actual retention.
