Try the starting example
- Products [name,forecast units,kg/unit,mandatory setup units]; enter JSON
- [["A",20,2,5],["B",15,3,3]]
- Transport payload capacity (kg)
- 70
- Prioritized load plan (JSON)
- {"loaded":[20,10],"mass":70,"setup_feasible":true}
- Unloaded forecast units (count)
- 5
Try another scenario
- Products [name,forecast units,kg/unit,mandatory setup units]; enter JSON
- [["A",25,2,5],["B",20,3,4]]
- Transport payload capacity (kg)
- 80
- Prioritized load plan (JSON)
- {"loaded":[25,10],"mass":80,"setup_feasible":true}
- Unloaded forecast units (count)
- 10
Calculation method
Calculation method
Prioritized load plan (JSON)
Reserve all setup units first; if overweight report infeasible. Otherwise in row order add min(forecast−setup,floor(remaining kg/unit)).
Unloaded forecast units (count)
Forecast total−loaded units; mandatory-overweight scenario reports all unallocated.
Symbols and units
- a
- Products [name,forecast units,kg/unit,mandatory setup units]; enter JSON
- b
- Transport payload capacity (kg)
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Input-priority whole-unit transport load after mandatory setup stock; one weight constraint only. Supported limits: All numeric inputs and computed intermediates must remain finite. Supported numeric input magnitude is zero or 1e-12 through 1e12 in absolute value; reject values outside this bounded range. All lists/JSON record tables are limited to 100 records unless a stricter bound is stated; reject malformed record arity and wrong member types. Positive kg/unit; integer 0<=setup<=forecast; payload>0; input order is user priority, no value optimization.
