Examples
Examples
Try the starting example
- Parties [passengers,luggage kg]; enter JSON
- [[2,30],[3,45],[2,40]]
- Vehicles [passenger seats,luggage kg capacity]; enter JSON
- [[4,70],[4,70]]
- Transfer assignment and loads (JSON)
- {"assignments":[1,2,1],"loads":[[4,70],[3,45]]}
- Unassigned parties (count)
- 0
Try another scenario
- Parties [passengers,luggage kg]; enter JSON
- [[3,50],[3,60],[2,30]]
- Vehicles [passenger seats,luggage kg capacity]; enter JSON
- [[4,80],[4,80]]
- Transfer assignment and loads (JSON)
- {"assignments":[1,2,null],"loads":[[3,50],[3,60]]}
- Unassigned parties (count)
- 1
Calculation method
Calculation method
Transfer assignment and loads (JSON)
Input-order greedy party assignment to feasible vehicle with fewest passengers, then index; enforce both seat and luggage capacities.
Unassigned parties (count)
Count parties left by bounded greedy plan; no infeasibility certificate.
Symbols and units
- a
- Parties [passengers,luggage kg]; enter JSON
- b
- Vehicles [passenger seats,luggage kg capacity]; enter JSON
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Single departure transfer group; parties stay together and both passenger and luggage limits are user-supplied. Supported limits: All numeric inputs and computed intermediates must remain finite. Supported numeric input magnitude is zero or 1e-12 through 1e12 in absolute value; reject values outside this bounded range. All lists/JSON record tables are limited to 100 records unless a stricter bound is stated; reject malformed record arity and wrong member types. At most 100 parties and 20 vehicles; positive passenger integers; luggage>=0; no arrival timing or multiple vehicle runs.
Are these inputs private?
