Calculation method
Calculation method
Feasibility under supplied distance model
A feasible plan requires every gap under usable full range=entered range−reserve.
Minimum-count modeled full-refill stop IDs
Starting full, repeatedly choose furthest supplied available station within usable range; this minimizes stop count on a fixed line with identical unlimited full refills.
Completed modeled leg lengths (km)
Show legs to selected refills and to destination only when completed.
Furthest modeled reachable route distance (km)
If no next station is reachable, current distance+usable range; otherwise destination.
Route distance beyond modeled reach (km)
max(0,destination−furthest modeled reach).
Symbols and units
- a
- Supplied line-route stations: ID, distance from start km, available yes/no
- b
- Route end distance from start (km)
- c
- Supplied full-tank distance range (km)
- d
- Supplied unspent distance-equivalent reserve (km)
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- A fixed-line supplied-range/station-availability optimization model, not live station data, a fuel-consumption forecast or a driving assurance. It assumes full unlimited refills, identical distance consumption, and no detours, opening hours or fuel compatibility constraints.
