Motorcycle intercom battery schedule calculator

Calculate proposed full-recharge sessions [start, end] and uncovered active minutes by ride [ID,minutes] with your own figures.

Your numbers

Use the units shown. Results update as you change valid inputs.

Use proposed full-recharge sessions [start, end] and uncovered active minutes by ride [ID,minutes] to compare changes to your inputs. The method and limits below explain the scope.

Calculation method

Calculation method

Proposed full-recharge sessions [start,end]

Start initially full; before each ride use earliest whole available window since prior ride that fits measured full recharge if battery is not full.

Uncovered active minutes by ride [ID,minutes]

Ride duration minus available active runtime, clamped at zero.

Remaining active runtime after last ride (min)

Track runtime balance, subtracting up to available runtime per ride.

Covered active minutes total

Sum min(runtimeBeforeRide,rideDuration).

Symbols and units
a
Measured full-charge active runtime (min)
b
Measured full recharge duration (min)
c
Ride segments JSON [ID,start minute, end minute]
d
Permitted recharge windows JSON [start, end] (minutes)

Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.

Assumptions & limits

Assumptions & limits

  • Measured-runtime bookkeeping, full recharges only. Ignores standby drain, charging while riding, partial charge curve, temperature and battery aging; user supplies acceptable windows. Supported limits: Positive integer runtime/recharge; ordered disjoint ride intervals; disjoint recharge windows outside rides; all minutes 0..10080.
