Try the starting example
- Directions for each objective: min or max
- min,max
- Options: name, objective values
- A,2,8 B,4,10 C,5,6
- Nondominated option(s)
- A, B
- Every dominated option and its dominators
- C: A, B
- Nondominated option count
- 2
- Objective count
- 2
Try another scenario
- Directions for each objective: min or max
- min,max
- Options: name, objective values
- A,2,8 B,1,10 C,5,6
- Nondominated option(s)
- B
- Every dominated option and its dominators
- A: B; C: A, B
- Nondominated option count
- 1
- Objective count
- 2
Calculation method
Calculation method
Nondominated option(s)
An option is nondominated when no other is no worse on every objective and strictly better on at least one.
Every dominated option and its dominators
List all dominators, including dominators that are themselves dominated.
Nondominated option count
Count surviving options, retaining distinct options with identical outcome vectors.
Objective count
Number of declared objective directions.
Symbols and units
- a
- Directions for each objective: min or max
- b
- Options: name, objective values
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Exact finite-value Pareto comparison without weights, uncertainty bands or automatic preference choice. Input objectives may use different units because only within-objective order is compared.
