Calculation method
Calculation method
Sheets required
Round up ticket quantity / positions per sheet.
Blank ticket positions
Sheets × positions − requested quantity.
Numbers by sheet in position order
For sheet s and position p, number=start+p×sheet count+s, unless that offset exceeds quantity.
Numbers after stacking sheets then cutting by position
Read every sheet in a position stack before proceeding to the next position; discard blanks.
Symbols and units
- a
- First ticket number
- b
- Ticket quantity
- c
- Ticket positions per sheet
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Cut-and-stack numbering with sheets kept in input order and position stacks read in ascending position order. Does not generate a print-ready file or infer the printer’s face-up/down stack reversal.
