Try the starting example
- Manifest [passenger-provided body kg,luggage kg]; enter JSON
- [[70,15],[80,20],[65,10]]
- Shared equipment mass (kg)
- 30
- User remaining payload limit (kg)
- 350
- Manifest total mass (kg)
- 290
- Payload mass margin (kg)
- 60
Try another scenario
- Manifest [passenger-provided body kg,luggage kg]; enter JSON
- [[75,20],[85,15],[70,18]]
- Shared equipment mass (kg)
- 40
- User remaining payload limit (kg)
- 400
- Manifest total mass (kg)
- 323
- Payload mass margin (kg)
- 77
Calculation method
Calculation method
Manifest total mass (kg)
Sum body+luggage masses+shared equipment.
Payload mass margin (kg)
User remaining payload−manifest mass.
Symbols and units
- a
- Manifest [passenger-provided body kg,luggage kg]; enter JSON
- b
- Shared equipment mass (kg)
- c
- User remaining payload limit (kg)
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- User-supplied passenger/equipment masses compared with a supplied limit; not a vehicle loading or balance certification. Supported limits: All numeric inputs and computed intermediates must remain finite. Supported numeric input magnitude is zero or 1e-12 through 1e12 in absolute value; reject values outside this bounded range. All lists/JSON record tables are limited to 100 records unless a stricter bound is stated; reject malformed record arity and wrong member types. All numeric values must be finite. Lists contain at most 100 records; required lists must be nonempty. Rates, probabilities and fractions are entered as fractions, not percentages; fractions must be between 0 and 1. Use a single consistent user-selected currency for all amounts; no exchange-rate conversion.
