Examples
Examples
Try the starting example
- Trip blocks [duration minutes, relief allowed after block boolean]; enter JSON
- [[60,true],[60,true],[60,false]]
- User maximum continuous shift (minutes)
- 120
- Relief boundaries (JSON)
- [2]
- Shift-limit conflict blocks (JSON)
- []
Try another scenario
- Trip blocks [duration minutes, relief allowed after block boolean]; enter JSON
- [[80,false],[80,true],[30,true]]
- User maximum continuous shift (minutes)
- 100
- Relief boundaries (JSON)
- [2]
- Shift-limit conflict blocks (JSON)
- [2]
Calculation method
Calculation method
Relief boundaries (JSON)
Track continuous work; when next block exceeds limit, relieve at the immediately previous boundary if allowed; output completed-block count.
Shift-limit conflict blocks (JSON)
Flag a block longer than limit, or an overrun whose immediately preceding boundary disallows relief.
Symbols and units
- a
- Trip blocks [duration minutes, relief allowed after block boolean]; enter JSON
- b
- User maximum continuous shift (minutes)
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Fixed consecutive trip blocks and user-authorized boundary relief points; greedy relief when next block exceeds shift limit. Supported limits: All numeric inputs and computed intermediates must remain finite. Supported numeric input magnitude is zero or 1e-12 through 1e12 in absolute value; reject values outside this bounded range. All lists/JSON record tables are limited to 100 records unless a stricter bound is stated; reject malformed record arity and wrong member types. All numeric values must be finite. Lists contain at most 100 records; required lists must be nonempty. Rates, probabilities and fractions are entered as fractions, not percentages; fractions must be between 0 and 1. Use a single consistent user-selected currency for all amounts; no exchange-rate conversion.
