Calculation method
Calculation method
Weighted grade (%)
Within each category drop the lowest earned/possible ratios, then divide retained earned points by retained possible points. Weight category percentages and normalise by the included weights.
Included category weight
Sum of the entered category weights; weights are relative and need not total 100.
Assessments retained
Number of assessments left after applying each category policy.
Weighted percentage-point contributions
Category percentage × relative category weight / total weight.

Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Uses your explicit category policies. Drops are by lowest percentage, with input order breaking ties; remaining points are pooled within each category. All categories must have a retained assessment. No extra credit or institutional rounding is assumed.
