Calculation method
Calculation method
Cut panel widths (cm)
Opening width + two edge allowances for each panel.
Cut panel heights (cm)
Opening height + two edge allowances for each panel.
One-panel-per-row roll length (cm)
For each panel test both rotations against roll width; use the shorter feasible roll-length orientation. Add a gap between consecutive rows.
Offcut area (cm²)
Roll width × allocated roll length − sum of cut panel areas.

Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- A reproducible strip layout with one panel per row, allowing each panel to rotate 90 degrees. It does not nest several panels across a row or claim minimum material use. Use measured spline/cutting allowances from your frame system.
