Calculation method
Calculation method
Theoretical product (mol)
Divide each available reactant amount by its matching stoichiometric coefficient. Take the smallest ratio and multiply by product coefficient c.
Limiting reactant position
Return the one-based position of the smallest ratio; if tied, return the first tied input.

Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- Compare available moles divided by stoichiometric coefficients. Enter a balanced reaction and consistent amounts. Lists support up to 1,000 finite values.
