Calculation method
Calculation method
Prepress complete (UTC)
Add prepress work hours during Monday–Friday opening windows.
Press complete (UTC)
Add press work hours after prepress under the same calendar.
Drying complete (UTC)
Add drying hours as continuous elapsed time, including nights and weekends.
Finishing complete (UTC)
After drying, add finishing work during opening windows.
Dispatch complete (UTC)
Add dispatch work after finishing during opening windows.
Active work hours
Sum the four active-hour inputs; drying is excluded.
Elapsed hours from earliest start
Dispatch timestamp − earliest supplied start, converted from milliseconds to hours.
Symbols and units

- b
- Active hours: prepress, press, finishing, dispatch
- c
- Drying elapsed hours after press
- d
- Weekday opening hour UTC

Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- A fixed sequential workflow on a UTC Monday–Friday work calendar. Drying continues while closed. Holidays, staff contention, rework, transport and local daylight-saving rules are not inferred. Zero-duration stages complete immediately.
