Calculation method
Calculation method
Modeled salary cost by cohort ($)
For each cohort round people×annual salary×active calendar days/reporting-year calendar days to US cents. Days before start are excluded; active salary continues through period end.
One-time recruiting cash in period ($)
People×one-time recruiting cash only for starts within the reporting period.
Total modeled period hiring cost ($)
Sum calendar-prorated salaries and start-date recruiting cash.
Budget less modeled cost, signed ($)
Supplied budget−modeled period cost; preserve overruns.
People whose start date falls in period
Sum people with starts inside the inclusive report period.
