Calculation method
Calculation method
Milestone dates by referral
Start date+supplied elapsed milestone days.
Date-qualified unpaid rewards ($)
If audit≥milestone and no exit before milestone, sum max(0,reward−paid).
Contingent unearned reward amounts ($)
For not-yet-qualified records without an observed pre-milestone exit, sum full supplied rewards, including known future starts.
Rewards forfeited by supplied pre-milestone exits ($)
An exit observed by audit strictly before milestone forfeits the supplied reward.
Paid amounts above current date-qualified reward ($)
Sum max(0,paid−date-qualified reward), including advances and forfeited payments; no clawback is inferred.
Date-qualified referral IDs
List records meeting the modeled date condition as of audit, including employees who leave after the milestone.
Symbols and units
- a
- Referrals: ID, start date, milestone elapsed days, actual exit date or none, reward $, already paid $
- b
- Audit date
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- A milestone-date reward ledger under supplied retention and payment rules, not an eligibility investigation, wage-law interpretation or automatic payout. Future exits are not treated as observed at an earlier audit date.
