Calculation method
Calculation method
Union meeting minutes in work window by employee
Clip events to the work window, merge overlaps and sum union duration.
Overlapping duplicate attendance minutes by employee
Sum clipped event durations−union meeting duration.
Free-time block count by employee
Count positive gaps between merged meetings within the declared window.
Longest free-time block by employee (minutes)
Maximum gap length, zero if no free interval.
Meeting share of declared work window (%)
Union meeting minutes/work-window minutes×100.
Total union meeting person-hours
Sum employee union meeting minutes/60; shared events count each attendee’s time.
Symbols and units
- a
- One work window per employee: ID, start fixed-offset YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM, end
- b
- Meeting attendance records: record ID, employee, starts, ends; or none
Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.
Assumptions & limits
Assumptions & limits
- An interval audit of supplied attendance windows on a fixed-offset clock, not a timezone/DST calendar importer or a measure of meeting quality or employee productivity.
