Calculation method
Calculation method
Uncovered scheduled hours by role
Count scheduled vacant days within the period, ending before fill date; multiply by positions×weekly hours/scheduled weekday count×(1−backfill share).
Gross vacancy scheduled hours by role
Same schedule before backfill.
Hours covered by supplied backfill shares
Gross vacancy hours−uncovered hours.
Total uncovered scheduled hours
Sum uncovered hours across supplied disjoint vacancy records.
Scheduled days in reporting period
Count declared weekdays less supplied excluded dates, independent of whether a role is vacant.
