Support callback window scheduling calculator

Calculate feasible callback assignments and requests scheduled with your own figures.

Your numbers

Use the units shown. Results update as you change valid inputs.

Use feasible callback assignments and requests scheduled to compare changes to your inputs. The method and limits below explain the scope.

Calculation method

Calculation method

Feasible callback assignments

Process earliest requested finish first, tie by input order; choose earliest feasible agent gap, tie by first agent appearance. Calls are uninterrupted and must finish within both windows.

Requests scheduled

Count scheduled requests, without claiming a maximum-cardinality schedule.

Unscheduled request IDs

Retain all requests not fitted by this heuristic.

Scheduled call minutes

Sum scheduled durations; agent intervals never overlap.

Symbols and units
a
Agent windows: name, start timestamp, end timestamp
b
Callback requests: ID, earliest start, latest finish, duration minutes

Use the units shown. A list keeps the order in which you enter its values. The symbol ^ means “raised to the power of”.

Assumptions & limits

Assumptions & limits

  • A bounded earliest-deadline feasible scheduling heuristic on a fixed-offset clock, up to fifty requests and twenty agents. It does not book real appointments or guarantee a global optimum.
