Calculation method

Calculation method

Contacts by period

Count unique contact records, preserving first period appearance.

Distinct cases by period

Count supplied case identifiers separately within each period.

Contacts beyond one per case / contacts (%)

100×(contacts−distinct cases)/contacts; repeated contact is not necessarily a duplicate event.

Contacts per distinct case

Period contacts/distinct cases.

Case IDs present in multiple periods

List case IDs observed under more than one period label.

Assumptions & limits

Assumptions & limits

  • A supplied case-ID contact-frequency audit, not automatic identity resolution or a recommendation to delete contacts. Period boundaries and case attribution are defined externally.
